FAQ

Upon arrival at our studio, our detailer conducts a thorough inspection of your car, highlighting any defects such as scratches or dents for your awareness.

Before we begin, we mask all electrical parts to safeguard them during the detailing process.

If required, our detailer performs a two-step rubbing process to eliminate swirl marks and minor scratches, ensuring a flawless finish before the PPF installation

Your car undergoes a meticulous washing process to prepare the surface for the Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation.

Our expert team begins the PPF installation process, which typically takes about 6-7 hours to complete.

Yes, if requested, we can install the Sun Control Film either the same day or the following day,
though not all customers opt for this service.

We keep your car overnight for observation to ensure any bubbles are eliminated and any
necessary rectifications are made after the PPF installation.

The detailing process includes vacuuming, windshield treatment, and the application of Ceramic Coating for added protection.

Ceramic Coating is a protective layer applied to your car’s surfaces, enhancing durability and providing a long-lasting shine.

Your car receives a final waxing with Ceramic Liquid Wax, providing a pristine shine that lasts and protects the surface.

Accessories with adhesive properties, like rubber guards and bumper stickers, cannot be
applied immediately to the newly installed PPF. The PPF requires a curing period of at least 7-10 days to dry completely.

If you choose to apply adhesive accessories before the recommended drying period, Shield Pro will proceed as requested; however, we cannot be held responsible for any potential damage caused to the PPF or the vehicle.

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a type of material known for its flexibility and durability,
commonly used in paint protection films. TPH (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is another option that provides good protection but may not offer the same level of flexibility. Generally, TPU is considered superior for PPF due to its self-healing properties and resistance to yellowing.

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that bonds with your vehicle’s paint to create a protective layer, enhancing shine and durability. Graphene Coating is an advanced version, incorporating graphene for superior heat resistance and a stronger bond, providing enhanced protection and
a slicker finish.

Your PPF warranty covers issues like yellowing, minor swirl marks, air bubbles, peeling, cracking, and removal without paint damage for the duration of the warranty you selected (5, 7, 8, 10, or 12 years).

Yes, the warranty does not cover damage to the paint caused by accidents, misuse, or improper maintenance. It applies exclusively to vehicles with OEM paint.

Please keep your E-warranty in a safe place, as it serves as proof of your product warranty

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent, durable film applied to a vehicle’s exterior to
protect the paint from scratches, chips, and other environmental damage.

The lifespan of PPF varies based on the warranty selected, with options available for 5, 7, 8, 10, or 12 years.

Yes, PPF can be removed without damaging the underlying paint, provided the vehicle has OEM paint.

PPF acts as a barrier against physical damage, UV rays, and chemical contaminants,
preserving your vehicle’s paint and finish.

Self-healing PPF can repair minor scratches and swirl marks when exposed to heat, restoring its original appearance.

Yes, but it’s recommended to wait at least 7 days after installation for optimal curing before washing to ensure the film adheres properly

Use a gentle hand wash with pH-neutral soap and avoid high-pressure washers that may lift the edges of the film.

No, PPF is designed to be nearly invisible and enhances the appearance of your vehicle while providing protection.

PPF is a physical barrier that protects against scratches and impacts, while Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that enhances shine and provides a chemical-resistant surface.

Ceramic Coating can last several years, depending on the product used and the level of care provided to the vehicle.

Yes, Ceramic Coating provides enhanced protection against dirt, grime, and UV rays, making maintenance easier and prolonging the life of your vehicle’s paint.

Yes, applying Ceramic Coating over PPF enhances its protective properties and provides an additional layer of shine.

Ceramic Coating can be applied to paint, glass, wheels, and even interiors for added protection.

Graphene Coating incorporates graphene for added strength and durability, offering better
hydrophobic properties and heat resistance compared to traditional Ceramic Coating.

While some DIY kits are available, professional application is recommended for the best results, ensuring a smooth and even finish

Yes, PPF provides a protective barrier against bird droppings, tree sap, and other corrosive
substances that can damage your paint.

If PPF is damaged, it can often be replaced or repaired without affecting the underlying paint.

While PPF requires minimal maintenance, regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals will help maintain its appearance and longevity.

Yes, PPF can be applied to most vehicles, regardless of make or model, although custom fitting
may be required for certain shapes.

PPF is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, but it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat whenever possible.

Ceramic Coating provides a more durable, long-lasting shine and protection compared to traditional wax, which wears off quickly and requires frequent reapplication.

Yes, Ceramic Coating typically requires a curing period of 24 to 48 hours to fully bond to the
surface.

No, PPF is transparent and will not change the color of your car; in fact, it can enhance the
depth and clarity of the paint.

Regular washing with pH-neutral soap, avoiding automatic car washes, and applying maintenance sprays designed for coated surfaces will help maintain both PPF and Ceramic Coating.

PPF is designed to absorb impacts and resist scratches, providing excellent protection against minor abrasions from keys or small rocks.

Yes, PPF can be applied to both new and used cars, provided the paint is in good condition.

Graphene Coating is applied similarly to Ceramic Coating, involving surface preparation and a multi-step application process for optimal results.

Bubbles are typically rectified during the observation period after installation. If they persist,
please contact us for assistance.

It’s recommended to apply maintenance sprays every 3 to 6 months to enhance the coating’s performance and longevity.

Yes, we offer warranties for both PPF and Ceramic Coating, covering issues like yellowing,
peeling, and loss of durability for specified periods.
