Company History
Shield Pro was founded in 2019, born out of a vision to redefine paint protection solutions in India. The journey began with the founder’s extensive experience in the automotive industry, including a notable tenure at 3M from 2005 to 2012. During this period, the founder honed a deep understanding of paint protection technologies and developed a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to car enthusiasts.
After leaving 3M, the founder spent three years in the UAE as a quality inspector at a sun control film manufacturing company. This role further deepened his expertise in film technologies and quality standards. However, he faced a significant challenge: the absence of an import and export license. For over seven years, he navigated the industry landscape by selling overseas brands under various labels. This experience, while valuable, fueled a desire to create something truly original and exceptional.
In 2019, after overcoming regulatory hurdles, the founder registered Shield Pro and trademarked the name. This marked the beginning of a new era in automotive protection, allowing Shield Pro to focus on delivering superior paint protection films (PPF) that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
